The Primordial Stone
A mineral with an extraordinary geological history.
Silverquartzite is a primal force.
A force that reminds you of something greater.
It is a mineral power not created by human hands.
A force whose secret has been preserved – revealing itself only to those who are willing to feel the stone on all levels.
A primordial stone of rare purity.
Formed from the oldest information – older than language,
greater than the human mind, beyond concepts and methods.
This stone originates from a mountain region in the Alps.
For millions of years, it was protected by the earth—and is now here to support and guide people.
Silberquarzit unfolds its highly energetic power together with its allies—
liquid golden larch resins and sacred wild herbs from the Pfitsch Valley.
It is your sacred encounter.
With the stone.
With the origin.
With your own greatness.
The secret remains untouched—
until you feel it yourself.
Geological Rarity
Silverquartzite – A Mineralogical Sensation in the Tauern Window
Silverquartzite originates from a place that reaches far beyond what the eye can perceive.
At the end of the Pfitsch Valley, in the small village of Stein, lies a terrain that once—over 150 million years ago—formed the coastline of primordial Europe.
This region is part of an extraordinary geological zone where time, pressure, and the history of the Earth have condensed in a truly unique way.
Embedded within this landscape is the world-renowned Tauern Window—a geological window of international significance, where the deepest layers of the Earth are exposed.
Here, structures become visible that would otherwise remain hidden.
Each year, scientists, geologists, and mineralogists from around the world travel to this region to study its rare composition and deepen their understanding of the formation of the Alps and their minerals.
Among experts, the area is considered an exceptional crystal region.
It is home to chloritized rock crystals, tourmalines, rare zircons, rutiles, hematites, amethysts, titanites, actinolites, and many other minerals.
The collection of these minerals is strictly regulated in South Tyrol and requires special permission—
a reflection of both the uniqueness of this natural environment and the need to protect it.
At the heart of this landscape lies the Silverquartzite quarry—a private extraction site that remains active to this day.
Despite the use of modern techniques and regular blasting, part of the stone is still processed by hand using traditional tools—
a rare and meaningful connection between craftsmanship and the raw power of nature.
Architects of international renown such as Matteo Thun use silverquartzite for exceptional architectural projects.
Its aesthetic clarity, resilience, and antibacterial properties make it particularly valuable—especially in sensitive environments such as water and spa architecture.
Mineralogically, the quarry reveals two primary formations:
the white silverquartzite, with over 90% quartz content (SiO₂),
and the dark silverquartzite, composed of approximately 60% quartz, enriched with a complex matrix of minerals and gemstones.
This unique composition provides not only physical stability but also a rareand distinctive energetic quality.
The exceptionally high quartz content enhances the so-called piezoelectric effect—a natural phenomenon in which pressure generates subtle electrical impulses, often perceived by individuals during treatments as tingling sensations or energetic activation.
A scientific assessment by Univ.Prof.Dr. Wolfgang Marktl confirms the exceptional nature of this deposit.
It is classified as a natural, site-specific inorganic healing resource and is assigned to the category of healing earths.
Furthermore, it can be used as a naturally energizing water stone.
In its powdered form, silverquartzite can support dermatological functions of the skin within the framework of peloid applications.
This raw material forms the foundation of all SilverQuartzite® rituals.
It is used both as raw stone—white or dark—and in finely processed powder form, unfolding its effects through direct contact with the body.
The treatments based on it follow a holistic, salutogenic approach—one that does not focus on treating isolated symptoms, but rather activates the body’s self-regulation and inner balance.
Elements of Traditional European Medicine, herbal healing, sound work, meditation, and bodywork merge into a complex and integrated system.
At the core lies the activation of the parasympathetic nervous system—the part of the nervous system responsible for regeneration, relaxation, and long-term stabilization.
It is important to emphasize that these are not clinical or medical treatments, but a conscious support of the body’s natural self-healing processes.
What unfolds here is not the result of a single factor—
but of the interplay between primal raw materials, applied in specific states and through carefully developed manual techniques refined over many years.
A stone that does not simply come from the earth—
but guides the human being back to their own depth.
